Administrative Assistant
EEHR Implementation Coordinator
Administrative Assistant
This position is a first impression for Electronic Medical Resources (EMR) on the phone and in the office. This person will assist Sales, Implementation, and Operations departments with administrative duties and functions.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains company appointment/meeting schedule and calendar in Outlook. Point of contact for scheduling meetings with clients and departments.
- Updates and maintains CRM software program for sales team.
- Takes dictation. Drafts routine responses to correspondence as needed. Assist with reports, documents and gathering data for reports.
- Collects and prepares information for use in discussion and meetings with executive staff members and outside individuals.
- Responsible for working with confidential information.
- Greets visitors to the office. Answer and transfer phone calls that opt out of the automatic attendant.
- Assists Executive Assistant with office management responsibilities including ordering supplies, office upkeep, meeting preparation, equipment maintenance and other general office duties.
- Assists in making travel arrangements for any staff members that are traveling on business.
- Available to assist with or be responsible for special projects as assigned.
- Must be able to multi task and handle high volumes of time sensitive deadlines.
- Runs errands for the office and works semi-independently.
- Travel requirements are minimal.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- 3 years’ experience
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- CRM and other sales related software experience a plus.
- Ability to think and operate independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to readily adapt to work prioritization changes
- Ability to handle multiple, high-priority tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Ability to operate computer to access email, electronic calendars, and other basic office software.
- Ability to handle all situations with professionalism and a positive attitude and be able to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Highly developed interpersonal, organizational, written, verbal, presentation, coordination, and multi-tasking skills.

EEHR Implementation Coordinator
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for meeting client implementation & training schedules for our Electronic Medical Records system, Allscripts EEHR v11.2
- Review the project documentation provided by the EHR Manager in preparation for your implementation.
- Provide classroom training to all client staff who will be end users of the EMR system.
- Demonstrate the value and power the EMR system will provide staff in their jobs and make it a positive experience for them.
- Escalate to the appropriate EMR department any problem or issues that require their involvement or that they should be made aware of.
- Provide on-site go-live support to end-users, helping to insure they are operating the EHR and accomplishing their job functions successfully.
- Report and document on-site results to the EHR Manager.
- Assist in other areas of need as requested when available to do so.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of EMR application features and functionality required.
- 5 years clinical experience is required with proficiency in the clinical work-flow of medical practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Multilingual a plus.
- Allscripts Enterprise EHR v11 experience is a plus.
- Meaningful Use Compliance knowledge a plus.
- Strong medical terminology and a coding/billing background is a plus.
- Confident when speaking in from of large groups of professionals.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate through the use of verbal and written skills to management, clients and peers.
- Must be self-motivated and well organized with excellent written and oral presentation skills.
- Reliable transportation, punctuality, and dependability are required.
EMR’s clients are all local within a 75 mile radius of Houston, Texas.
