Mr. Wedekind is the CEO of one of the largest and most successful Independent Physician Associations serving the Houston, Texas and Gulf Coast areas: IntegraNet Physician Resources, Inc. (Please see www.IntegraNetTx.com for more information.) His vision of developing a clinically and financially integrated healthcare delivery system in the Gulf Coast region of Texas required that a revolutionary, low-cost, state-of-the-art electronic health record solution be identified and adopted by the physicians in his network. He and Ed Horn started EMR in early 2007, as a result of this shared vision and their combined healthcare management experiences in Houston. Mr. Wedekind and Mr. Horn are responsible for creating the unique Application Service Provider ("ASP") model and Monthly Subscription model that EMR utilizes to cost-effectively deliver this highly integrated and interoperable EHR service to licensed physicians.

Ed is one of the founders of Electronic Medical Resources, LLC, continuing to fulfill a lifelong dream of providing tools that actually improve healthcare delivery quality while reducing costs at the same time. After working with Cameron Iron Works for 15 years, he went on to start two different managed care companies, Sanus and Managed Healthcare Inc. While with those companies, Ed addressed how corporations could work closely with providers to contain costs while delivering higher quality healthcare services. He holds a Bachelors of Science as well as an MBA degree, and continues to study advanced technology to improve Clinical Integration and Pay for Performance.

With 20 plus years of experience in the Information Technology field and ten of those years dedicated to the Healthcare Industry, Rick provides a wide array of technical expertise and best practice solutions to EMR.

Having worked at nationally-recognized healthcare leaders like MD Anderson Cancer Center, Memorial-Hermann, Humana, and The Methodist Hospitals, Rick has progressively expanded his technical capability and resourcefulness by implementing numerous clinical applications, infrastructures, and communication technologies.

Joining the EMR executive team in June 2008, Rick helped bring the AllScripts TWEHR system online on September 2008. He is currently responsible for implementing project management guidance, HIPAA and security compliance, business process analysis, VPN & interfaces, and overall technical-architecture leadership.

Maria brings more than 20 years of billing, practice management, and systems integration expertise to EMR. She currently owns and operates Alliance Billing Solutions (ABS), a total billing solution in the Houston area. ABS works closely with EMR to implement training on software and hardware, and to ensure platform compatibility, interoperability, claims resolution, and customer service. She also has intimate experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payors, and routinely assists her offices in minimizing costs and maximizing allowable reimbursements.

Tatia joined the EMR team in September 2008. She brings to EMR more than 17 years experience in the business field of the healthcare industry. She is an expert in accounts receivable, practice management systems, coding, customer service, and claims and reimbursement resolutions. She also has an extensive background with Medicare and Medicaid. Her current responsibilities include the deployment, implementation, and training of the Allscripts Electronic Health Records system. She also is responsible for providing on-going functional support and training to our existing clients and their users.

Cindy is a multi-faceted and experienced nursing professional who directs the EMR clinical sales and implementation team. She received her LVN certification from San Jacinto College in December 2003 and has worked in various aspects of nursing, including Step down ICU, Radiology, Dialysis, Home Health Marketing, Agency Nursing, Skilled Nursing units, LTACH nursing, Case Management, as well as Clinical Liaison. She is very excited to be with EMR, utilizing her vast experience in business and nursing to provide the medical community with a tool that can make life easier and more efficient.
